Ashley Tisdale

È conosciuta per il suo ruolo come Maddie, la ragazza del banco dei dolci al Tipton Hotel nella situation comedy di Disney channel Zack e Cody al Gran Hotel, e il film . Ashley ha anche una carriera nella musica, dopo aver debuttato con il CD Headstrong il 6 Febbraio 2007. Figlia di Lisa Morris e Mike Tisdale, ha una sorella più grande, Jennifer, anch'essa attrice. Sua sorella minore Abby che ha undici anni, il prossimo anno frequenterà la scuola "Walnuts Hills High School". Suo nonno materno è Arnold Morris, lo sviluppatore dei coltelli Ginsu, mentre il suo bisnonno era Nathan Morris, il prozio dell'inventore Ron Popeil, e il suo bis-bis-nonno era Kidders Morris, hazzan e calzolaio. Ashley venne scoperta in un centro commerciale nel suo paese nativo Monmouth County quando aveva tre anni. Ha cantato alla Casa Bianca all'età di dodici anni, a diciannove ha aperto un concerto dei Megadeth. L' 1 Dicembre 2007 si è sottoposta ad un intervento di rinoplastica a causa di problemi di respirazione.

Ashley cominciò a recitare nel 1990, e apparve in episodi di diverse serie TV, Smart Guy ,Settimo Cielo incluso, Grounded for life, Boston Public, Strong Medicine e Beverly Hills. Apparve in un ruolo minore nel film del 2001,Donnie Darko, e nel telefilm Streghe. Ha ruoli ricorrenti sulle serie The Hughleys e Still Standing. Fece il provino per entrambi i ruoli di Madeline Fitzpatrik e London Tipton per Zack e Cody al grand Hotel, prima di entrare nel cast come Maddie. Alla fine è stata felice di ricevere il ruolo, perché lei desiderava ritrarre un personaggio positivo, piuttosto che un'ingiusta London. Non appena Zack e Cody al grand Hotel guadagnò la popolarità, apparì su Disney Channel in diverse promozioni, special e pubblicità per la rete.

Più recentemente (Nel 2006), ha ottenuto un ruolo nel cast del Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical, commentando di essersi divertita molto ad interpretare Sharpay, il personaggio femminile infame del film in quanto completamente diverso da lei. Nei provini, voleva fare il ruolo di Gabriella Montez, ma poi è stata scelta per il ruolo di Sharpay Evans. Ashley Tisdale ha richiesto il ruolo per eseguire diverse canzoni come What I've Been Looking for, Bop to the Top e We're All in This Together. Canta anche la sua versione delle canzoni Someday My Prince Will Come, KIss the Girl e Last Christmas di cui ne ha poi fatto un singolo disponibile in tutti i negozi virtuali in Internet. Nel 2007 ha preso parte al sequel di High School Musical,High School Musical 2 diretto sempre da Kenny Ortega.

Nel 2008, reciterà in High School Musical 3 interpretando, come nei capitolo precedenti, Sharpay Evans.
